[IIJ=Gyeongsanbuk-do, Reporter Ueibong Yeo, Jiyeung Nam] On 24th ahead of 14th Organization of World Heritage Cities World Congress which seems like World Heritage Olympics that opened every 2 years on the purpose of preservation and utilization of 2017 OWHC member cities' world heritages, the signing ceremony of the Organization of World Heritage Cities World Congress took place in conjunction with participation of Denis Ricard, Secretary General of Organization of World Heritage Cities.

As a committee president, Yangsik Choi, Mayor of Gyeongju, performed the promotional actions such as distributing brochures of OWHC World Congress in Gyeongju to OWHC Board of Directors which will be hosted in Istanbul, Turkey in March established with the 50 people of whom are related in cultural, economic organizations, and the press. In this signing ceremony, Denis Ricard extolled Yangsik Choi, Mayor of Gyeongju and expressed the affinity with Gyeongju in saying "I read the books about Shilla".
